ANNOUNCEMENTS

•The Leadership Banquet will be held Thursday, September 9th at 6:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.  This is for all church workers and their spouse.  Let us know you are planning to attend by signing the sheet at the hospitality booth in the foyer.  Everyone who serves in any area in the church is invited to attend.

•Since many of you are planning outings with your families on this holiday weekend, we will not meet for service tonight.

•The Choir is looking for a couple of ladies to volunteer their time to care for the children during choir rehearsal.  If you can help see Pastor Javan.

•The Children’s Church Soul Patrol will be practicing for “Star of Wonder” Christmas program on Wednesdays at Mid-Week Madness.  Please bring your children (ages 7-12) to be a part of this program.  If any adults want to help  please see Pastor Javan or any of the Children’s Church Staff.  The performance will be December 12.

•Teachers remember to give Broni your list with the dates of events you have planned for the upcoming church year so we can get them on the church calendar.  If you are planning a Christmas Party for your class we need that date as well.

•The Appling County Food Bank is looking for volunteers.  If you can help them between the hours of 10:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. give them a call at 366-Food (3663)

•Mom’s Connect will meet Wednesday, September 8th at Jim’s Pizza at noon.  Dutch treat.  Bring the kids.

•If you are not a member of this body of believers we invite you to join.  If you have never been baptized or maybe you have made a rededication, we encourage you to be baptized.  We will be receiving new members and having Baptismal Service on October 3rd.  Let us know you are interested by signing the sheet in the foyer.

•Family Night Meal will be served each Wednesday night from 5:00-6:30 p.m.  $5.00 per plate covers the cost of the meal.

•A box for prayer requests is located in the foyer.

WOMEN’S MINISTRY

•Our Kick-off Meeting was held last Tuesday.  If you were unable to attend, see Sis. Margaret for your copy of  the new information handed out at the meeting.  The information includes our calendar of events and the updated circle lists.  We encourage all our ladies to become involved in Women’s Ministries.  If you have any questions about the role of Women’s Ministries in the Church, feel free to contact Sis. Margaret Graham at 367-5354 or Sis. Kim Lee at 367-3610.

CHILDREN’S CHURCH

•Mid-Week Madness is every Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.  We offer choir and drama for children 7-12 years old and Cherub choir for children 4-6 years old.  We’re rehearsing for our Christmas programs, come get involved.
